Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 8, 2026
Short version: Parenting Time Calculator does not collect, store, or sell your personal data. The calculator runs entirely in your browser. You do not need an account to use it, and we do not know who you are.
The longer version follows, because legal pages are expected to be thorough and because people searching for a privacy policy generally want the specifics.
What we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifying information. The parenting time calculator does not transmit the numbers you type, the schedule you select, or the resulting percentage to any server. The math happens on your device, and when you close the tab, nothing is saved.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Cloudflare's implementation is cookieless and does not track individual users across websites. We see aggregate numbers like "about 1,400 people ran the calculator this week" and "the holiday guide was the most-read blog post yesterday." We do not see your IP address, browser fingerprint, or anything tied to you specifically.
No other tracking scripts run on this site. No Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no marketing tag managers.
Advertising
If Google AdSense ads appear on the site, Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ad Settings. You can also use browser-level controls (like "Do Not Track" or tracking-protection features) to limit what any advertiser sees.
Whether ads are shown at all depends on the current deployment. If you see ads and they bother you, let us know at the email address below.
Cookies and local storage
The site uses your browser's localStorage (not cookies) to remember two things: your preferred colour theme (light or dark) and any last-used inputs in the calculator, so you do not have to re-enter everything if you refresh the page. This data stays in your browser. It is never transmitted to us.
Third-party services (advertising, if enabled) may set cookies of their own as described above. Your browser's settings let you block or clear cookies at any time.
Your rights under GDPR and CCPA
Both the GDPR (Europe) and the CCPA (California) give you the right to access, correct, or delete personal data that a company holds about you. Since we do not hold personal data about you, there is nothing to access or delete on our end. If a third-party service (like Google) has collected data about you through ads on this site, you can exercise those rights directly with the provider.
Children
The calculator is designed for parents and family law professionals. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes meaningfully (for example, if we add analytics that collect more data), the updated date at the top will change and we will note what was updated. Minor rewording for clarity does not trigger a new date.
